Money & Membership
Money should never be the reason not to get involved with your neighborhood association. We all know that Metro Park is not a “rich neighborhood” and we all know that most of us are out here living paycheck-to-paycheck.
So what’s the solution?
There isn't just one.
Dues, Organization & Action
We believe it's important to have a formal membership structure, rules of operation, legal incorporation, a checking account, etc. It makes us a stronger and more capable group.
On the other hand, all of that is secondary to our mission: to build community and improve our neighborhood.
Formal membership is important, but it's not the most important thing.
On the welcome page to this website it says, "We Show Up and Make Things Better... Keep it simple. Be a good neighbor. Love your Metro Park." These are words we live by.
We're about coming together to brainstorm solutions to how we can make Metro Park a safer and more beautiful neighborhood, and then going out and making it happen.
The truth is... you do NOT need to be a “Voting Member” to be a part of MPNA.
You just need to show up and be about it.
More Membership Options
If you want to become a voting member, we absolutely want you to. If a once annual membership payment is causing you to hesitate, consider these two options:
Option #1 – Pay Quarterly
Click here for quarterly payment options.
Option #2 – Apply to Become a Sponsored Member
In the beginning we called it "scholarship." Now we call it "sponsorship."
Our sponsorship program matches neighbors who want to sponsor the annual dues payment of neighbors in need, with neighbors seeking sponsorship.
It's a simple process.
